 "A Moment of Rest"  I'm now working on a new series of paintings. A Moment of Rest is the beginning of my ballet pictures. Can't have a studio in a ballet school and not take full advantage of the excitement and sprit of all that dancing going on. Hope to have some of them done for a upcoming show. This one is a 24 x 30 acrylic on wrap around canvas.

 " I'm Ready "  Another one of my ballet series. It is a 24 x 30 acrylic on wrap around canvas.

        "Resting Her Feet"  Ballet Series   24 x 30  acrylic on canvas. This is how I start all my acrylic paintings. With light and dark under coatings (glazes). Then I begin to add my  color glazing. During this process I always keep  going  back in with  light and dark colors to reestablish my  structure of what I'm painting.  I do this until I get a contrast  and balance I'm looking for. Doing this I fell I get a  nice glow to the picture. Usually  I will have a 100 glazes when I'm done.
